Cholesterol Medications are a Grift.
Statins do not offer mortality benefit in those with a good triglyceride to HDL ratio (low trigs, high HDL). This is irrespective of LDL levels.
While this paper is sure to spark debate, we (the authors) believe it to be sound. – Paul Mason, MD
